During times of uncertainty, I have come to realize how much I want to make a difference in my own life. Perhaps if it weren’t for SARS in 2003, I would not have been joining JC. If it were not because of financial tsunami in 2008, I would not have made up my mind to take the challenge as President of Sha Tin Junior Chamber. We all come from different paths of life and faith has brought us together in this big family to make a difference in our life.
The ability of one individual may be limited but the power of a group cannot be overlooked. In the next 365 days as the 23rd President of Sha Tin Junior Chamber, I am ready to lead a group of passionate young people to create positive changes. Together, we care.
The Year 2010 marks the 10th year anniversary of Love of the Earth – our flagship project which promotes the awareness of environmental preservation to our next generation. In 2010, we continue following our mission by bringing young people to Shanghai World Expo to explore how to live in “Better City, Better Life”. Dragon boat remains as SJC’s tradition to further enhance our team spirit. In coming year, we carry on maintaining a strong bonding with Sha Tin District by organising community projects which make a difference.
I am ready to work with our team of outstanding board of directors and officers to lead Sha Tin Junior Chamber to another horizon.
